2008 Dress Code
Is there a dress code for youth camp?
With regard to clothing: Any fashion (dress, accessory, or hair style) that distracts from the spiritual atmosphere or presents a safety risk will not be permitted, such as, plunging necklines, bare midriffs, short shorts, jogging shorts, short dresses, brief swim wear, or immodest tight apparel. Inappropriate secular advertisements are not permitted. Shirts are to be worn by men and boys in public at all times, except while swimming. One piece swim suites are required for girls at the pool.
What activities are there for kids to do during group recreation and free time?
Swimming, group initiatives, softball, field sports, and crazy field games planned by each program dean.
What do I bring to Camp?
Bedding: Sheets, pillow, blanket or sleeping bag. Clothing for classes, recreation, dress-up occasions. Personal items, Bible, notepad and pencil/pen, money for the camp store (Canteen) and Missions, toiletries, towels, bathing suit (one piece). Other items to consider would be camera, flashlight, insect repellent, jacket or sweatshirt, rain poncho.
When is swimming allowed?
This area requires utmost safety. Swimming is permitted only when a Tri-State Christian Service Camp lifeguard is on duty.
Are campers allowed to use the telephone?
Campers are not permitted to make phone calls unless it is an emergency determined by the Dean or Camp Coordinator.
